What About My Kids?

Children are an invaluable part of our community – they are the future of our church! Our goal is to partner with parents in encouraging their children to learn and grow in their relationships with God. It is our desire that each child comes to know Jesus in a very real way early in their lives and to build a foundation that will not be shaken.

“Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it.”
–Proverbs 22:6

Newborn – Learning to Walk: We offer a nursery room where you and your baby can feel comfortable while hearing the sermon through built-in speakers. Here you are able to nurse, play, put your child for a nap or rock your crying baby.

Toddlers – Kindergarten: Main Street is the name of our children’s ministry for toddlers – kindergarten. Kids are checked in 10 minutes before service and stay in this safe, secure area until the service is over. While in Main Street, your child will experience engaging, age-appropriate worship, teaching, and activities all developed to point your child toward a daily relationship with Christ.

Worship time starts in the Holy Donut Bakery. After about 20 minutes of music, instruments and activities, the teachers will bring the children to their classrooms:

US Post Office: 3 year olds
Savior Pizza: 4 year olds
General Store: 5 year olds

Children can be picked up at the conclusion of the adult service and will only be released to the person who checked them in.

1st – 6th grade: Our elementary kids - the Go Fish Kids, grades 1 – 6, worship with the adults in our main service and are released to go to their classes before the sermon. Teachers wait outside the sanctuary to bring the kids to their classrooms. Each week kids are encouraged to grow in their understanding of the Bible through games, Bible lessons, and discussions. These classes are fun and challenging and are designed to help kids develop a personal relationship with Jesus.

Our children’s ministry is staffed by caring volunteers who pray and work hard to create a loving, safe environment for your children.
